For New Patients
If this is your first visit with Dr. Bathija, we ask that you review the following information about allergy testing. Based on her detailed history and physical examination, Dr. Bathija will determine if allergy testing is warranted, so before your initial visit:

One week prior to your appointment
Please discontinue all antihistamines or medications which have the following agents for one week prior to your appointment:
Please take all of your other medications as prescribed by your physician.

Two days prior to skin testing appointment
Please discontinue medications which have the following agents for two days prior to skin testing appointment

Skin testing
Skin testing will be performed on the back and arms. You will be asked to change into an examination gown.

3-5 days after skin testing
Small red lesions may be noticeable on the back and arms for 3-5 days after skin testing. As such, please be aware of above especially if planning to wear sleeveless or backless clothing soon after skin testing.

Before skin testing
Eat a small meal 1-2 hours before skin testing appointment.

Notify the physician or office staff if you have any of the following medical conditions:

Notify office staff if you are on blood pressure, heart or glaucoma medications or eyedrops, or if you are on any of the following medications:
